Terry Towel and Bathrobe Manufacturing

Towel bathrobe bathmat producing exporting

Are you curious about the production process of towels and bathrobes, which have been indispensable in our bathrooms since the 17th century?

The first step of towel and bathrobe production starts with made yarn from raw material. Cotton has specifications as high water absorbency and softness. Beside this, it makes it the most preferred raw material in towel production due to its properties such as dyeability and durability
Second step is the bobbin, warp, sizing processes. After that yarn becomes ready for the weaving step.
In the weaving process that is the third step the most important factor is the weft and warp density. According to construction, weft densities is between 12-25 cm and warp densities is between 18-30 cm. Upon request, the product can be woven with dobby or jacquard.
Briefly mentioned about dobby and jacquard weaving.
The dobby weaving machine is the mechanism that moves up and down the warp yarns. With this mechanism, plain (non-patterned) woven or border and plain weave can be weaved by simple patterns such as stripes, wicks.
Jacquard weaving allows the most complex patterns to be woven on the fabric surface during fabric formation. Due to its technical characteristics, 3D images and embossed patterns can be obtained.
After the weaving process, production is continued with dyeing. In addition to dyeing, finishing activity required as softness, high hydrophility etc. are performed in this process.
Finally, the production process is completed with the stitching operation.
The process described above applies to towel and bathrobe fabrics of the terry fabric type and single color dyeing.
Production processes for velvet, yarn dyed, printed and embroidered products are different.
